DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Manage, automate, and optimize CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to ensure seamless code integration and deployment.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and oversee IaC practices with tools such as Terraform or Ansible, enabling rapid and consistent infrastructure scaling.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy, monitor, and maintain high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Set up and maintain robust monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to proactively detect and resolve production issues.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with developers to integrate DevOps solutions, enhancing code quality and deployment speed across the software development lifecycle.
• Security Management: Implement security best practices across infrastructure and applications, managing firewalls, VPNs, and other security tools.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks and enhance system reliability.
• Documentation: Create and update detailed documentation for all DevOps processes, configurations, and incident response protocols.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a DevOps role within an IT company.
• Technical Skills: Strong skills in Linux/Unix, scripting, version control (Git), and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet).
• CI/CD Expertise: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Cloud & Containerization: Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Analytical Abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, essential for effective cross-functional collaboration.
